About this site

Why I chose to make this

I made this website so I can talk about one of my favorite pass times, playing D&D with my friends. Also to show off some of the characters that I made that I'm proud of and their backstories, some of which I worked really hard on. I first got started in D&D when my brother and his friends peer pressured me into playing it. I immediately fell in love with the world's created by my friends. While our D&D group changed over the years with different people coming and going, five of us have always been mainstays: Me, my brother Joe, and our friends Jon, Carson, and Mike. Our friends came up with the most amazing worlds and helped me to come up with awesome characters. I'm happy that other people will get to share in our creativity through this site as they explore some of my awesome characters!

Jefmon Adcaryn

Bio

Jefmon Adcaryn was born and raised in Damnin with his brother Geofmon (pronounced jef-mon), and often babysitted by his second cousin Sylberos, where he was known for stealing things and causing mischief. His older brother became a well-known charlatan and was highly successful. However, Geofmon ended up joining an army to protect his home of Damnin and abandoned the life of scaming. What a loser! When he grew up, Jefmon ended up becoming a charlatan/criminal to continue the Adcaryn legacy of scaming. Ironically, even though Jefmon resented his brother for joining the order, he ended up inadvertently joining the heroes of Damnin while trying to scam them. Oops, maybe being a hero isn't so lame after all...

As Jefmon kept following the heroes around in an effort to annoy them (yes he's that kind of person), he ended up getting roped into their adventures and found he could get lots of gold from defeating enemies and actually doing the right thing, who knew! Jefmon unfortunately never changed as a person and always remained greedy and purely selfish. He's hated by literally everyone, but he has such a huge ego that he doesn't even care. On rare occasions, Jefmon has been shown to have a heart, but these moments are few and far between. Eventually, Jefmon who had up to this point carried two magical rings that he knew were a danger to himself and everyone around him but kept them anyways, ended up dying. The power from the rings he had resurrected him into a quasi-deity known as the Lord of Chaos (click on the image to see his change), and he used his powers to defeat the villains of the story single handedly. Yep, all by himself he caried the party (at least that's what he claims) and became the single greatest hero of Damnin! (yeah right)

Sylberos Adcaryn

Bio

Sylberos Adcaryn always showed an interest in learning, even as a young child. Sylberos was always interested in knowledge and wanted to seek out the mysteries of the world and learn anything about everything. After he graduated college with flying colors, he spent a lot of his time in his local library, reading most of the books there and learning three other languages (he also learned Celestial just to spite everyone). While in college, he met a strange man named Sean O' Patrick who eventually became his best friend. However, he still felt like there was something missing from his life. One day, Sylberos and Sean met a Gnome wizard named Lopos Wagglebonk and, after being pestered a little bit by Sylberos, became his wizard's apprentice.

Sylberos thought that Wagglebonk could give him something to do in life and teach him a lot of things as time went on. And he did. Wagglebonk shared Sylberos's apptitude for knowledge which cemented their bond over time. Wagglebonk taught Sylberos how to use magic and how to cast spells, which delighted Sylberos greatly. Sylberos thought that learning these spells would help him learn things and gain more knowledge.

Years pass, and Wagglebonk, Sean, and Sylberos went on a small expedition after they uncovered an old library buried underneath the ground. While searching, they uncovered a book that seemed to be important, as it was hidden inside of a large vault that was destroyed over time. Lopos took the book to study its unknown contents expecting to find some spells inside as well as some information that could be revolutionary.

While Sylberos and Sean were out in the market, Wagglebonk came running to Sylberos panicking telling him that he has to leave and take the book with him. Not too far behind, a small group of spellcasters came to them and started to attack, led by a Black Dragonborn leader. Wagglebonk forced Sylberos to run with the book and to not have them get their hands on it. Sylberos reluctantly obeyed his master's wishes and ran off. A fight ensued between Wagglebonk and the group after them, leaving Wagglebonk's fate unknown.

Sean O' Patrick went missing during the attack after making sure that Sylberos was safe on a ship. Leaving his fate also unknown. When Sylberos was safe and far away, he found a small note inside from Wagglebonk, telling him to head to an Archipelago named Dorvum, saying that that place has something to do with the book. Sylberos then got on the next ship to Dorvum, hoping to uncover whatever mystery was inside of that book, which was now locked with a binding spell by Lopos.

Trafinas Winterwood

Bio

Trafinas hears the sound of some calm waves along the shoreline, then a few seconds later, a strange voice is in his head, saying something unintelligible in a graggly voice, before getting a quick image of a dark, foggy forest. He sees a quick glimpse of black, empty circles with a wide and thin smile beneath it, before being suddenly awake. He wakes up in an empty room, one that appears to be that of a hosptial. There are no other patients around, but a nurse teld him that he was found in the forest near the edge of town. Some hunters brought him in and that he's been staying there for about a month. Unconscious. She tells him that he is in the country of Myltros. He is able to get his things and get situated a little bit, though memories of most of his memories are still hazy. This happened one day before the session started.

Trafinas Winterwood is the brother of a character named Lorfinas Winterwood, who is not featured in this website, and is another cousin of Jefmon Adcaryn, on his mother's side. He one day woke up with no memory of who he is or where he was. Eventually, he and another character named Khazal, whom he had just met, went to sleep in an Inn and woke up in a strange world with two other strangers! They were all confused and hostile towards each other at first but decided to help each other find their way back to their home. The world that they're in is called Druskenvald and it's a realm of eternal night with a large, crooked moon looming above them with an insidious smile and various people and monsters, the kind of which were never seen in their world. Trafinas and his new companions must make it out of this mysterious world before the dangers of this new world make it to them first!
