Trafinas Winterwood

Bio

Trafinas hears the sound of some calm waves along the shoreline, then a few seconds later, a strange voice is in his head, saying something unintelligible in a graggly voice, before getting a quick image of a dark, foggy forest. He sees a quick glimpse of black, empty circles with a wide and thin smile beneath it, before being suddenly awake. He wakes up in an empty room, one that appears to be that of a hosptial. There are no other patients around, but a nurse teld him that he was found in the forest near the edge of town. Some hunters brought him in and that he's been staying there for about a month. Unconscious. She tells him that he is in the country of Myltros. He is able to get his things and get situated a little bit, though memories of most of his memories are still hazy. This happened one day before the session started.

Trafinas Winterwood is the brother of a character named Lorfinas Winterwood, who is not featured in this website, and is another cousin of Jefmon Adcaryn, on his mother's side. He one day woke up with no memory of who he is or where he was. Eventually, he and another character named Khazal, whom he had just met, went to sleep in an Inn and woke up in a strange world with two other strangers! They were all confused and hostile towards each other at first but decided to help each other find their way back to their home. The world that they're in is called Druskenvald and it's a realm of eternal night with a large, crooked moon looming above them with an insidious smile and various people and monsters, the kind of which were never seen in their world. Trafinas and his new companions must make it out of this mysterious world before the dangers of this new world make it to them first!

Campaign He's From

Trafinas Winterwood is from a campaign known as Crooked Moon. Unlike the other campaigns, this one is not made by my friends. Instead, Crooked Moon is a campaign and adventure module created by Avantris Entertainment that has a horror and folklore theme to it. Character Info

Personality Traits

Trafinas tends judge people by their actions, not their words. He understands that there's always more to someone that meets the eye. If someone is in trouble, he's always ready to lend help as his goal is to protect people from various forces of evil. He is very determined to find out who he is as he has no memory of anything since he woke up in that hospital.

Ideals

Trafinas is a strong believer in freedom as he believes that tyrants must not be allowed to oppress the people. He believes in doing what's necessary for the greater Good. He believes that his purpose is to lay down his life in defense of others and expects his friends to do the same for him.

Bonds

He protect those who cannot protect themselves. He feels that those who fight beside him are those worth dying for.

Flaws

He has a weakness for the vices of the city, especially hard drink in which he grows combative and unpredictable when he drinks. He tries his best to avoid drinks due to that reason, but he's not perfect. His hatred of his enemies is blind and unreasoning. If he comes across an evil being, he will not hesitate to deliver justice by the end of his blade. His desire to protect others has on occasion caused him to make reckless and dangerous decisions.
